We recommend staying in Franschhoek from 21st - 25th February 2024 so you are close to our wedding celebrations.
Of course, you can also stay for a longer period of time as Franschhoek boasts some of the best restaurants, wine farms and craft beer houses in the region.
We would recommend staying in the area indicated below when in Franschhoek. It is within walking distance to the main street, which is full of lovely bars and restaurants that you can sample. Also, it's an ideal starting point for any wine farm trips.
Our after party will be in Tiger's Milk, Camps Bay (Cape Town) on Sunday 25th February. Post wedding day we feel most people will want to spend time in Cape Town and experience all it has to offer. With that in mind we would highly recommend sticking to the following areas in Cape Town:
▸ The Waterfront (De Waterkant ): Great location for the V&A waterfront area and also close to the central streets such as Kloof Street that has a lot of bars and restaurants.
▸ Sea Point & Bantry Bay: Super cool and trendy part of Cape Town with excellent bars and restaurants, close to the beaches and the promenade.
▸ Camps Bay & Bakoven: Beautiful part of Cape Town with the most stunning views of mountains and beaches you will ever see in your life. Right on the beach with plenty of cool bars and restaurants
There is a list of places we recommend below. If you have any questions on where to stay in Cape Town feel free to reach out to us and we will be more than happy to guide you!

If you would like to go a little further afield, there are some incredible game reserves no further than a two hour drive from Cape Town. If this is your first time in South Africa, seeing the Big Five (lions, rhinos, elephants, buffalo and leopard) is a must!
